Who The Training Is For

Three groups, trained separately where it makes sense to.

Front of house Service sequence, floor standards, the conversation with a guest.
Kitchen Order accuracy, allergen awareness, section discipline and pass routines.
Management A separate layer on shift leadership — running a shift, delegating, holding a standard.

Format

Delivered on-site or fully remote, whichever suits you. Any group size. A remote follow-up session is included in every booking.

You receive the training handbook as a PDF, plus an editable version so you can train new starters yourself afterwards without booking again.

The Twelve Areas

These twelve areas are the full curriculum. The three-day programme covers the whole set. The one-day covers a selection, agreed with you before the visit — twelve areas are not covered in a single day, and any training that claims otherwise is skimming.

01Sequence of service and floor standards
02Upselling without pressure
03Drinks knowledge — wine, coffee, cocktails
04Complaint handling and recovery
05Opening and closing routines
06Allergens and food safety awareness
07POS and order accuracy
08Speed of service and table turns
09Shift leadership and delegation
10Cleaning and section discipline
11Cash and till handling
12Keeping standards consistent across multiple sites

The allergens and food safety module covers awareness and floor practice. It is not accredited training and does not replace Level 2 Food Hygiene or statutory allergen training, which your team should hold separately. The certificate issued at the end of the three-day programme is an Epicurean Digital Consultants certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification.

The Certificate

Everyone who completes the three-day programme receives an Epicurean Digital Consultants certificate of completion.

Who Delivers It

The training is delivered by Ali Solak, who has spent over twenty years in hospitality operations across more than 250 outlets in five countries, including recruiting and training opening teams for multiple London launches. The material is what he uses on the floor, not a syllabus written from a textbook.
