Velvet 21 (package com.epicureandigital.velvet21) is a blackjack game with virtual credits, published by Epicurean Digital Consultants ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: the app does not collect, store or share any personal data.
None. Velvet 21 has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no server of our own. The game runs entirely on your device and works offline.
Your settings (sound, music, coach, accessibility options) and your progress (statistics, achievements, rank, selected card backs and chips, virtual bankrolls, daily-challenge history) are saved locally on your device so the app remembers them. This information never leaves your device, except through Android's own backup service if you have device backup enabled, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or use "Erase all progress" in Settings.
The app requests no special permissions. It uses the device's vibration motor for optional haptic feedback and standard internet access only so that the operating system can download the app and future updates.
Credits in Velvet 21 are virtual and have no monetary value. They can never be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred or cashed out. In the five rooms they are topped up free of charge. The app offers no real-money gambling and links to none.
One optional members' table, the Velvet Circle, uses Circle credits sold as consumable packs through Google Play. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy and terms; we never see your payment details. The app stores on your device only the purchase token, order number, pack and time of each purchase, so that credits can be granted once, shown to you as a purchase history, and recovered after an interrupted payment or a reinstall. Nothing about your purchases is sent to us. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
Velvet 21 is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
